| Is Jodi destined to find true love with Riley? Can Stevie and Alex mend fences? Will wild child Tayler prove herself? And have we seen the last of Kate? These are just some of the questions that fans of McLeod’s Daughters were left to ponder when the smash hit Australian drama series wrapped up its sixth season on VisionTV. Now, the answers are at hand. The long anticipated seventh season of McLeod’s Daughters arrives on Mondays, starting May 26, at 9 p.m. and Midnight ET/ 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. PT. One of the most popular Australian programs ever produced, McLeod’s Daughters premiered in Canada on VisionTV in 2002. The award-winning series chronicles the lives and loves of Stevie (Simmone Jade Mackinnon), Jodi (Rachael Carpani), Kate (Michala Banas) and the other women of Drovers Run as they contend with the challenge of running a ranch in Aussie cattle country. The end of last season found the blossoming romance between Stevie and Alex (Aaron Jeffery) on the rocks. Kate left for Africa, leaving Patrick (Luke Jacobz) heartbroken. Regan (Zoe Naylor) decided to take troubled teen Tayler (Gillian Alexy) under her wing. And Jodi began growing closer to Riley (Dustin Clare), unaware that an old flame was about to re-enter her life. In this seventh season, Jodi is forced to choose between love and Drovers Run. Meanwhile, Regan attempts to reconcile with her feisty and independent sister Grace (new cast member Abi Tucker). Handsome newcomer Marcus (Matthew Passmore) arrives with a startling secret, while Stevie and Alex reach a turning point in their relationship. And a shocking, season-ending cliffhanger will leave fans with more questions than ever before. McLeod’s Daughters is filmed entirely on location at Kingsford, a working farm near the city of Adelaide. Doris Younane also stars. The eighth final season of McLeod’s Daughters is now in production, and will make its Canadian television premiere exclusively on VisionTV. The series is produced by Australia’s Channel Nine. Posie Graeme-Evans is the creator and Executive Producer. For more on McLeod’s Daughters: http://mcleodsdaughters.ninemsn.com.au.
